Medical & Aged Care Group (MACG) is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Crew and General Trades Person for our Melbourne-based aged care homes in the southeast and Bayside suburbs. The role focuses on refurbishments, painting and general repairs to keep facilities bright, safe and welcoming for residents, families and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, repairs and painting.
• Strong technical and problem solving skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently while staying connected to the team.
• Good time management and Organisation skills.
• Positive, proactive, hands-on attitude.
• Willingness to travel between homes across Melbourne's southeast (required).
• Current driver's licence and own reliable vehicle (required).
• Basic computer skills for job tracking and documentation; ability to read maintenance reports.

Responsabilités

• Refurbishment of rooms and general painting.
• Perform routine repairs to maintain safe, welcoming environments for residents.
• Support Homes with maintenance across multiple sites as needed.
• Coordinate with Home Managers and maintenance team to prioritise tasks.
