Job summary

Bene Aged Care is seeking reliable and team-focused Kitchenhands to join the St Pauls Residential Facility on a part-time basis. This not-for-profit age care provider offers a supportive and inclusive environment in the Adelaide Hills, with ongoing training and career development opportunities.

Role involves meal preparation, dietary support, kitchen cleanliness, safe operation of equipment, and HACCP documentation.

Qualifications

• Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain.
• Valid Driver’s Licence.
• Ability to work afternoon/evening shifts.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Commitment to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Desirable: Italian language skills (advantageous, not essential).

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and service of nutritious meals.
• Support special dietary requirements and menu delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas and equipment.
• Operate commercial kitchen equipment safely.
• Complete Food Safety and HACCP documentation.
• Work collaboratively with the hospitality team to deliver excellent service.
