Job summary

Qualifications

• Infection prevention and infection control practices knowledge.
• Food safety handling knowledge; Food Safety Certificate desirable.
• Ability to work in a team and independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathy and understanding for elderly residents and their needs.

Responsibilities

• General Duties: Work with the Hotel Services team to meet resident needs; assist across Cleaning, Laundry, and Catering; follow schedules and infection control standards.
• Cleaning: Daily and scheduled cleaning of resident rooms, bathrooms, communal areas, and facility spaces; maintain infection control and use PPE.
• Laundry: Sort, wash, dry, fold, iron, and distribute resident personal clothing and facility linen; handle soiled laundry per procedures.
• Catering: Assist in food preparation and service under direction of the Chef/Cook; ensure dietary requirements and keep kitchen and dining areas clean.
