Job summary

Helping Hand Aged Care in Jamestown (SA) is seeking a friendly Hotel Services Assistant to provide catering, housekeeping, laundry and utilities support in our Residential Care Home. You will help meet resident needs and maintain high cleanliness and meal service standards.

The role is casual, requiring good communication, ability to use apps like Outlook, and the flexibility to make decisions and work independently. NDIS screening is required or willing to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use smartphones and apps (e.g., Outlook).
• Proven ability to make decisions, take initiative and work independently.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening clearance or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide catering, housekeeping, laundry and utilities services to residents.
• Deliver high-quality cleaning, laundry and meal preparation to Helping Hand standards.
• Share skills and knowledge with staff to support learning.
