Job summary

Our Lady of Consolation Aged Care & Services is seeking caring Domestic Cleaning Support Workers to assist older people living independently in their own homes in Western Sydney. You will perform domestic cleaning tasks and help maintain a clean, safe environment while supporting the client's independence and dignity.

The role is part-time, starting around 10–15 hours per week with potential to grow to 20–25 hours, requires a NSW Class C driver's license, a reliable car, and a National Criminal

Qualifications

• Must have a genuine commitment to supporting older people to remain living safely at home.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and high cleaning standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide domestic cleaning services in accordance with individual care plans and organisational standards.
• Perform household tasks including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens.
• Travel between client homes and maintain accurate records of services provided.
• Promote client independence, dignity, choice and well-being at all times.
• Monitor health, safety, or environmental concerns observed during home visits.
