Job summary

My Designed Homecare PTY LTD – Penrith NSW is seeking casual homecare cleaners to travel to client homes in Sydney suburbs and provide general cleaning and domestic assistance for aged care clients. Shifts are ongoing, Monday to Friday, up to 2 days per week and growing, with industry competitive hourly rates plus a fuel allowance.

Responsibilities include scrubbing, dusting, mopping, bathroom cleaning, cobweb removal, window cleaning, and daily living tasks such as laundry and ironing.

Qualifications

• Qualified experience in Aged Care or NDIS (desired).
• Home care cleaning experience.
• First Aid certificate is preferred.

Traveling to and providing Domestic Assistance (cleaning) in homes for an aged care business.

Job type: Casual shifts ongoing - Monday to Friday - Up to 2 days per week and growing

About the role:

In this role, you will drive to each individual client's homes at the time and day as scheduled and provide general cleaning services. You will travel to and provide domestic assistance (cleaning) in homes for an aged care business.

• Cleaning toilets and bathrooms
• Cobweb removal
• Window cleaning
• Daily living tasks such as laundry, ironing clothing, and bed linen changing
• Bringing in or taking out council bins

About you

If you are genuinely passionate cleaning with an eye for detail and have a high regard for the aged care industry, you will shine in this role. Your caring nature and strong communication will help you build rapport with your clients to provide the services they require. You are organised and ready to adapt to changes, your team and clients can always count on you as you are reliable, flexible and able to commit to a variety of shifts.

To be considered for this role the following relevant experience, skills and qualifications are required:

• Qualified experience in Aged Care or NDIS (desired)
• Home care cleaning experience
• First Aid
• Current valid driver's licence
• Use of own vehicle in sound condition and insured
• Police Check within the last 12 months (or willing to obtain)
• Ability to work autonomously
• Passionate about cleaning with an eye for detail
• Reliable, flexible and able to commit to a variety of shifts
