Job summary

Right at Home Sydney Norwest is seeking qualified Personal Care Workers to join our team in Hills district and surrounding areas. You will provide compassionate, client-centered support, helping with personal care, domestic tasks, and social activities.

Casual roles offered with a view to permanent part-time for suitable candidates. The role reports to the care coordinator at Right at Home Sydney Norwest and requires weekend/overnight availability.

Qualifications

• Valid First Aid & CPR certificate.
• Valid Covid-19 certificate with booster.
• Owner has a car with comprehensive insurance.

Responsibilities

• Working within a person-centered, enabling environment that respects the rights and needs of each client.
• Assisting clients with personal hygiene, dressing, and domestic duties.
• Assisting clients with daily errands, companionship, and support.
• Providing support with academic, social, or recreational activities.
• Preparing food, feeding clients, and administering medications.
• Observe, care and report any changes in the health and wellbeing of the client.
• Responding to emergency situations.
• Working weekend and overnight shifts as rostered.
