Job summary

Silverchain Group in Port Stephens is seeking a dedicated Care Worker to help older clients live independently at home. With at least 3 months in a similar role and Cert 3 in Aged Care or Ageing & Disability, you must have a valid Australian driver’s licence and a own vehicle.

Role includes personal care, medication assistance, mobility support, light housekeeping and client transport. We offer a permanent roster and an award rate of $36.23 per hour plus super, paid mileage, PPE, T‑Shirts and a

Qualifications

• Requires at least 3 months experience in a similar role.
• Cert 3 in Individual Support - Aged Care or Ageing & Disability required.
• Must hold a valid Australian Driver's Licence and have your own insured, roadworthy vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, including getting clients out of bed, showering, and dressing.
• Assist with medications and mobility goals.
• Perform general housekeeping, meal prep, and light laundry.
• Transport clients to lifestyle activities or appointments and support families.
