Job summary

Access Aged Care is seeking General Practitioners to join our network, delivering on-site care to residents across Residential Aged Care Homes in Northam and surrounding areas. Weekday hours only, with no after-hours or on-call requirements, allowing you to protect personal time.

You will work with a consistent cohort of residents, supported by an Access Aged Care Nurse, to coordinate care plans and follow-up actions, ensuring sessions run smoothly and efficiently.

Qualifications

Current AHPRA Specialist Registration as a General Practitioner.
RACGP or ACRRM Fellowship required (or nearing completion).
Availability of 1 day per week initially, with opportunity to increase.
Comfortable with technology, including system-based reporting and common clinical software.
A personal laptop is required to perform the duties of this role.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site GP care to residents across Residential Aged Care Homes.
Deliver proactive, relationship-based care and build long-term clinical relationships.
Coordinate care plans, investigations and communications with homes via nursing support and telehealth team.
