Job summary

Respect Group Limited in Penguin, Tasmania, is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our Coroneagh Park site. The role oversees 24-hour residential care, palliative and short-term respite services, ensuring safe, person-centred care and strong regulatory compliance.

You will drive clinical governance, workforce leadership, financial performance and overall resident experience, while building relationships with residents, families and the local community in a values-driven not-for-profit

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Nursing (desirable).
• Current AHPRA registration.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the home with a focus on quality, compliance and person-centred care.
• Drive clinical excellence, continuous improvement and positive consumer outcomes.
• Lead, coach and develop teams to achieve high performance and foster a positive workplace culture.
• Ensure compliance with aged care standards, legislation and organisational policies.
• Oversee quality improvement, risk management, audits and accurate documentation practices.
• Manage occupancy, budgets, rostering, and workforce planning.
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff and the local community.
• Promote safety and a values-driven environment.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to support best practice.
