Job summary

The United Protestant Association of NSW Limited invites applications for a Facility Manager at Oolong Hostel in Howlong. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, ensure compliance with Aged Care Act, and drive quality improvement within a xx-bed service.

Experience in aged care and management is preferred, with current AHPRA registration and ability to obtain police checks. Competitive not-for-profit remuneration and supportive leadership await the successful candidate.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration and willingness to obtain a National Police Check.
• Commitment to Quality Improvement and Aged Care Accreditation standards.
• 3-5 years clinical experience in aged care.
• Knowledge of Aged Care Act, best practice documentation.
• Demonstrated experience in mentoring & supervising a multi-disciplinary team of staff.
• Knowledge of best practice documentation and relevant Commonwealth aged care funding instruments.
• A strong passion and commitment in the delivery of Aged Care Services.
• A deep empathy and general care for aged care residents.
• Previous experience as an Aged Care Facility Manager is highly desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Tertiary qualifications in a related area viewed favourably.
