Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous experience in maintenance, handyman, or facilities roles.
• Practical skills across general repairs (e.g. plumbing, electrical, carpentry, gyprock, ceiling and wall repairs – basic level).
• Current and Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks.
• Reliable, proactive, and safety‑focused approach.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with a diverse team.
• A National Police Clearance or NDIS Screening Check, or willingness to obtain this.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair work across the facility.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and issues.
• Maintain building systems, equipment, and fixtures.
• Assist with preventative maintenance programs.
• Ensure the facility grounds are clean, safe, and well‑maintained.
• Coordinate with external contractors as required.
• Maintain records of maintenance work and report any risks or hazards.
