Job summary

SA Health is seeking a Casual Temporary Direct Care Worker/Carer for Bordertown Memorial Hospital and Aged Care. Join a multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred care, supporting residents with daily activities, mobility and meals while upholding dignity and comfort.

The role requires a Certificate III in Aged Care (WHD4 class) and prior direct care experience in a health setting, with strong communication and teamwork skills to support residents and families.

Qualifications

• Hold a Certificate III in Aged Care or other relevant qualification (For WHD4 Class).
• Have experience providing direct care within a health-related setting.
• Have experience supporting older, frail or people living with disability.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care, mobility support and support with meals and daily activities.
• Assist with treatments and everyday needs while maintaining residents' dignity.
• Work under supervision of Registered and Enrolled Nurses as part of a multidisciplinary team.
