Job summary

Uniting Armidale is seeking a compassionate Household Dining Assistant to support meal preparation and dining services for residents in a welcoming aged care home. You will work across Kitchen, Cleaning and Laundry to help maintain a clean, comfortable living environment and assist with residents’ laundry needs.

The role emphasizes dignity, independence and wellbeing, with shifts rostered as required and a focus on delivering high-quality service in a supportive team setting.

Qualifications

• Food safety supervisor certification (desirable, not mandatory).
• Knowledge of safe food handling practices and a passion for preparing nutritious meals.
• Empathy, adaptability and a commitment to delivering excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Support meal preparation and service across Kitchen, Cleaning and Laundry.
• Maintain clean, inviting living and dining spaces and assist with residents' laundry.
