Alzheimer’s Queensland is seeking an experienced Cook to join Garden City Aged Care in Upper Mount Gravatt, delivering homestyle meals for residents while upholding strong hygiene and safety standards. This role supports fast-paced meal preparation and requires flexibility for early morning and afternoon shifts.

Casual and permanent part-time positions are available, with a competitive hourly rate, 12% superannuation, and salary packaging.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or minimum 3 years’ experience.
• Experience in aged care, healthcare, or high-volume kitchens (Desirable).
• Must have full Australian working rights with no restrictions.
• National Police Check and current vaccinations.
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to prepare meals for diverse dietary requirements.
• Reliable, organised, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be available for early morning, afternoon, and weekday shifts.

Responsibilities
