Job summary

Bayton is seeking reliable, friendly cleaners to join aged care facilities in Berry and Gerringong, NSW. This casual opportunity offers regular daytime shifts, a supportive team and a role where your work helps create a safe, welcoming home for residents.

You’ll perform cleaning in resident rooms, bathrooms, living and dining areas, maintain high hygiene standards and follow infection control requirements, with training provided and opportunities to grow with an established Australian business.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience, with aged care experience highly regarded
• A current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or the ability to obtain one
• Ability to meet relevant compliance requirements, including a National Police Check and influenza vaccination
• Strong attention to detail and high cleaning standards
• Reliability and punctuality
• Confidence working independently and as part of a team
• Strong English communication and interpersonal skills
• An understanding of the importance of resident dignity, hygiene and presentation in an aged care environment

Responsibilities

• Cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, living and dining areas
• Maintaining communal and high-traffic areas
• General cleaning of floors, surfaces, kitchens and common areas
• Rubbish removal and restocking supplies
• Following infection control, hygiene and safety requirements

• Assisting with movement of equipment and stock where required

Looking for regular casual work, a supportive team and a role where what you do genuinely matters?

We’re looking for reliable, hardworking cleaners to join our teams at aged care facilities in Berry and Gerringong.

This is more than just keeping a facility clean. You’ll play an important part in creating a safe, comfortable and welcoming home for residents, while working alongside a friendly, team-focused crew.

Availability

We have regular daytime casual shifts available across both locations:

Gerringong
Applicants should have good availability Monday to Thursday.

Berry
Applicants should have good availability Tuesday to Friday to work across a rotating roster.

Key responsibilities

As part of our aged care cleaning team, you’ll help maintain a clean, hygienic and comfortable environment for residents, visitors and staff. Your responsibilities will include:
