Job summary

The Salvation Army Australia in Port Macquarie seeks an experienced Centre Manager to lead an onsite aged care team and ensure compassionate, high‑quality resident care.

You will report to the Regional Operations Manager and supervise a multidisciplinary team, including a Clinical Care Manager and RN staff. This fixed-term role runs through February 2027 with four weeks of onsite accommodation available.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted RN registration with AHPRA.
• Demonstrated financial management experience in residential aged care.
• Strong leadership and people management abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulatory requirements and guidelines.
• Experience with AN-ACC, occupancy and budget controls.
• Understanding of administrative processes and service delivery.
• National NDIS Worker Screening Check required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational management of the centre and lead a multidisciplinary team.
• Report to the Regional Operations Manager and collaborate with Support Services.
• Ensure care delivery with compassion, integrity and dignity.
