Job summary

IRT is seeking a Chef/Catering Assistant to support our Catering Services Centre in NSW. The role offers family-friendly, casual/part-time hours with Tuesday and Wednesday availability. Prior experience in large-scale kitchens or aged care catering is highly regarded.

You will prepare and produce high-quality meals following HACCP guidelines and assist across production and distribution to multiple IRT locations. A current truck licence is valued.

Qualifications

• 500 hours of industry experience or more.
• TAFE/Chef or equivalent qualification desirable.
• Experience in bulk cooking preferred.
• Self-motivated with good communication.
• Knowledge of current food handling laws.
• Driver's licence required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce high-quality foods following HACCP.
• Work in Catering Services Centre to distribute meals.
• Support production and distribution across locations.
