Job summary

Anglicare Sydney is seeking a dedicated Carer at Dudley Foord House, The Ponds to deliver high-quality, person-centered care. You will assist with daily tasks, support wellbeing, and promote independence while documenting residents' progress.

You will bring a Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent, with at least 6 months’ experience and an NDIS screening clearance, plus comfort with care management systems and digital records. A caring, collaborative approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 6 months experience in aged care or a similar healthcare setting.
• NDIS workers screening check clearance ID.
• Experience with care management systems and digital documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance including showering, dressing, grooming and feeding.
• Support residents with mobility and physical assistance.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Monitor and document residents’ progress and preferences.
• Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver person-centered care.
