Job summary
TLC Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Bus Driver – Wellbeing/Lifestyle Assistant for the Geelong region. You will transport residents safely to outings, support wellbeing activities, and work across Wallington, Armstrong Creek and Belmont on a full-time basis.
Role requires experience in aged care, Cert III in Ageing, Cert IV in Leisure & Lifestyle, and a current full drivers licence. Vaccinations and checks are required as part of our commitment to resident safety.
Qualifications
- Experience in Aged Care or Healthcare sector.
- Cert III in Ageing; Cert IV in Leisure & Lifestyle.
- Full current Drivers Licence.
- Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations.
- NDIS Check (includes Police Check).
- Proof of eligibility to work in Australia.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe transportation to external outings for residents.
- Ensure resident safety when boarding/exiting the bus.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance and cleaning; minor troubleshooting.
- Deliver person-centred care and support daily living to enhance independence.
- Support design and delivery of wellbeing programs and activities.
- Review and evaluate wellbeing care plans and assessments.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to meet residents' wellbeing needs.
