Job summary

Opal Glen Care Community in Auburn, NSW, seeks Assistants in Nursing to support residents in daily living and wellbeing. The role is permanent part-time across a rotating roster, with base pay of AUD 36.23/hour plus penalties for weekends and public holidays and 12% superannuation.

Qualifications

• Must hold Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Aged Care or Disability.
• Nursing student status welcomed.
• Ability to pass pre-employment checks including police check and NDIS clearance

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care that supports residents’ daily living, dignity and wellbeing
• Build positive, meaningful relationships with residents and their families
• Support residents with meals, mobility, hygiene and social engagement
• Work collaboratively with nurses to deliver safe, high-quality care
• Contribute to a warm, respectful and supportive care community
• Follow workplace health, safety, clinical and compliance requirements
