Job summary

Sims Limited in Australia is seeking a hands-on Yard Hand to join our Brooklyn team on the afternoon shift (3:00pm - 11:00pm). You’ll be on the ground handling materials, operating equipment, and helping keep the yard safe and efficient.

You'll gain experience across warehousing, recycling, and logistics with full training and development opportunities in a fast-paced environment dedicated to sustainability and responsible resource recovery.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing, labouring, or logistics is preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in a hands-on role.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Grade, sort, and process materials for recycling.
• Load and unload trucks and operate site equipment.
• Maintain accurate stock records and keep the yard clean and safe.
• Follow safety, environmental, and operational procedures.
