D’Orsogna Limited is seeking Meat Processing Labourers on a casual basis at our Palmyra facility (WA 6157). You will process and pack meat products, operate processing equipment, and maintain a clean, safe work area in accordance with food safety standards.

The role requires lifting up to 20 kg, willingness to work 5 days a week with overtime as needed, and flexibility for afternoon shifts. Training provided to ensure quality and compliance with industry regulations.

Afternoon Shift Labourers and Packers 3 pm starts

Must be able to work 8 hours a day Monday to Friday plus over time as required starting by the 20th October.

Must be available for interview and medical.

D'Orsogna Limited is seeking Meat Processing Labourers to join our team on a casual basis . This role is based at our facility in Palmyra, WA 6157. As a Meat Processing Labourer and Packer, you will play a vital role in our production operations, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This position is essential to maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our manufacturing processes, supporting our commitment to delivering premium quality products to our customers.

What you'll be doing

Processing and preparing meat products according to established company procedures and food safety standards

Physical demanding role. Be able to lift 20 kilos

Operating and maintaining meat processing equipment safely and effectively

Packing finished products into cartons

Inspecting products for quality and rejecting any items that do not meet our standards

Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within your work area in compliance with food safety regulations

Following all health and safety protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

Working efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines

Assisting with basic equipment cleaning and maintenance tasks

Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production issues or concerns

What we're looking for

Team members that can work 5 days a week plus weekend if needed.

Previous experience in meat processing, food manufacturing, or similar production environments is highly desirable

A strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices, or willingness to learn and adhere to rigorous standards

Physical fitness and ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods

Reliability and punctuality, particularly given the casual nature of this position

Attention to detail and commitment to quality in all aspects of work

A willingness to follow instructions and work as part of a team

Basic communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues

Current or ability to obtain food handling certification is advantageous

Flexibility to work afternoon shifts, as required by production schedules
