Job summary

Selleys, part of the DuluxGroup, is seeking a trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter / Machinist for a Sydney-area site. You’ll perform maintenance on packaging and process equipment, support changeovers, and diagnose faults to minimise downtime.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in manufacturing, experience with CMMS (MEX) and a strong safety focus. The role is permanent full-time with afternoon shifts (2pm–10pm) and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification required for the fitter/machinist role.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong fault-finding and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strong understanding of site equipment and services.
• Assist with complex production line changeovers and equipment setups.
• Respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults to minimise downtime and identify recurring issues.
• Complete planned preventative and corrective maintenance with accurate records in MEX CMMS.
• Apply Permit to Work, LOTO and isolation procedures to ensure safe operations.
• Collaborate with operators and production leaders to optimise equipment performance.
