Job summary

Transcend are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our high profiled client in Altona North. The role involves operating an Electric Counterbalance Forklift and performing manual handling duties in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key requirements include LF license, experience with Electric Counterbalance forklifts, full Australian work rights, and a willingness to work off the forklift when needed. Overtime opportunities available with immediate start.

Qualifications

• Valid High Risk Forklift License (LF).
• Experience operating an Electric Counterbalance Forklift (Essential).
• Full Australian Work Rights.
• Ability to handle long-length steel products safely (Highly Regarded).
• Willingness to perform manual labour and work off the forklift as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate an Electric Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload trucks with steel products (4–6 metre lengths).
• Bundle and stage materials for dispatch or storage.
• Move, stack, and organise stock within the warehouse or yard.
• Assist with general warehouse duties when not operating the forklift.
• Ensure all loads are secured and handled in accordance with safety standards.
• Conduct routine equipment checks and report any issues.
