Job summary

St Joseph's Catholic Primary School Oberon is seeking a dedicated Homework Club Supervisor for the after-school program. The role involves supervising students, assisting with homework, and supporting extracurricular activities to enhance learning experiences.

The position is temporary and part-time (9 hours per fortnight), commencing ASAP with an hourly rate of $34.05–$44.53, depending on qualifications and experience. Access to Fitness Passport and salary packaging is available.

Qualifications

• Holds a Certificate III in Education Support or equivalent (desired)
• A valid Working with Children Check
• Understanding of Child Protection principles and relevant policies
• Commitment to the mission and ethos of Catholic education
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during after-school hours in the Homework Club
• Assist students with homework and reading as needed
• Support engaging activities and projects aligned with learning goals
• Maintain an organized, well-equipped space with necessary materials
• Encourage independence and effective study habits among students
• Collaborate with colleagues and school staff to coordinate activities and support program goals
