Job summary

St Joseph's Catholic Primary School, Oberon is seeking a passionate Homework Club Supervisor to join the team, commencing Term 1, 2026. The role involves supervising students after school, supporting with homework and coordinating engaging activities that reinforce learning.

Qualifications

Certificate III in Education Support or equivalent is desired.
Valid Working with Children Check.
Understanding of Child Protection principles and relevant policies.
Commitment to the mission and ethos of Catholic education.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.

Responsibilities

Ensure the safety and well-being of students participating in the after-school program through attentive supervision.
Assist students with their homework tasks and support with reading and academic concepts as needed.
Support and facilitate engaging activities and projects that reinforce classroom learning.
Maintain an organised and well-equipped space with necessary materials for students.
Foster independence and self-reliance in learners and encourage effective study habits.
Collaborate with colleagues and school administrators to coordinate activities and support the Homework Club goals.
