HammondCare is seeking an After-Hours Nurse Manager to lead operational management and clinical leadership after-hours across hospital networks including Braeside, Greenwich, Neringah, and community palliative care teams. You will ensure patient care continuity, supervise after-hours duties, and coordinate with senior clinical teams.

Seeking current APRA registration, post-registration leadership experience, and a management qualification or equivalent.

Competenze

• Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
• Post-registration experience in palliative care, rehabilitation, or mental health.
• Tertiary qualifications in management or equivalent leadership experience.
• Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
• Experience managing a team across multiple sites.
• Strong administrative, computer and technology skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Empathy and patience.

Mansioni

• Provide operational management and clinical professional leadership after-hours.
• Supervise after-hours shifts (evenings, nights, weekends, holidays).
• Support staffing levels to meet patient care needs across the network.
• Implement business continuity and escalation procedures during emergencies.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance.
