Job summary

Terang & Mortlake Health Service is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Terang Hospital as After Hours Coordinator in a permanent part-time capacity. The role focuses on leadership and management of after-hours care, ensuring effective and efficient operations and outcomes.

You will lead a nursing team, collaborate with Shift Leaders and Unit Managers, and work with virtual services to maintain high standards of patient care in a rural hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration.
• Minimum 5 years postgraduate experience in Acute Care.
• Demonstrated ability to be an effective clinical practice role model.
• Proven leadership and management experience in healthcare.
• Knowledge of residential aged care nursing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the after hours nursing team to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Collaborate with Shift Leaders and Unit Managers to ensure excellence in care delivery.

After Hours Coordinator

Permanent Part-time 64 hours per fortnight

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse to join TMHS as our After Hours Coordinator based at our Terang Hospital. As the After Hours Coordinator, you will be working in a key leadership and management role that is accountable for the efficient and effective hands on operational management of the hospital after hours.

You will:

• Support and contribute to planning, implementing, and evaluating care practices, processes, and services.
• Collaborate with Shift Leaders and Unit Managers to achieve excellence in care delivery.
• Lead and inspire a dedicated team of nurses to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Work closely with virtual services to ensure optimal patient outcomes and adherence to best practices.

• Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
