Job summary

AbbVie Allergan Aesthetics in Sydney CBD is seeking a Medical Advisor to lead medical strategy and engagement across Australia and New Zealand. You will collaborate with leading physicians, KOLs, and clinicians to drive evidence-based education and scientific exchange.

You will influence medical strategy, support compliant communications, and shape external engagements while maintaining high ethical standards in a dynamic ANZ environment.

Qualifications

• Science degree; B Pharm, Nursing, PharmD, MSc or PhD preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of post-qualification work experience.
• Experience in medical affairs and cross-functional teamwork.
• Excellent scientific communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50% across ANZ.

Responsibilities

• Define Medical Affairs priorities, strategy, and execution for ANZ.
• Lead Medical Affairs plan aligned with regional priorities.
• Translate strategy into prioritized field activities and stakeholder plans.
• Provide medical leadership to MSL activities and other initiatives.
• Lead non-promotional scientific exchange with healthcare professionals.
• Develop medical education initiatives, speaker programs, advisory activities.
• Ensure materials are accurate, balanced, and compliant.
• Travel across ANZ as required; maintain relationships with KOLs.
