Job summary

Gilmour Space Technologies, located between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, is seeking a Manufacturing Technician – Integration to join our state-of-the-art facility in North Queensland. You will participate in the assembly and testing of launch vehicle components and interfaces for electronic and mechanical systems, in a high-reliability manufacturing setting.

The role requires 2+ years of aerospace/space-related experience, strong knowledge of mechanical, fluids, avionics and electrical systems,

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a high reliability manufacturing environment.
• Experience with mechanical, fluids, avionics and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out assembly and test of launch vehicle parts and interfaces for electronic and mechanical systems.
• Set up and operate lab test equipment in clean room environments.
• Assist in testing hardware using procedures and work instructions.
• Review CAD drawings and verify dimensions per specifications.
• Ensure parts align and fit per specifications while complying with procedures and regulatory obligations.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, efficiency and cost.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Planning, Quality and Manufacturing teams.
