Amazon Inc. in Redmond, WA seeks a CNC Programmer to join the Leo satellite manufacturing effort. You will program multi-axis milling machines, translate drawings into production processes, and collaborate with engineering to improve DFMA and tooling strategies.

The role demands 4+ years in space/aerospace hardware development, NX CAM, PLM and milling center programming, in a fast-paced environment. A strong focus on quality and delivery is essential.

Competenze

• 4+ years of hardware development, test lab, space/aerospace maintenance or hands-on engineering environment experience.
• 2+ years of Siemens NX CAM programming experience
• 2+ years of experience using PLM software
• 2+ years of NX modeling experience
• 2+ years of experience programming mill-turn machining centers
• 2+ years of Okuma machining centers

Mansioni

• Use CAD/CAM software to program multi-axis milling machines to machine complex metallic structures and components
• Translate engineering drawings into reliable R&D and production machining processes
• Provide feedback to engineering teams to improve DFMA
• Design, program and machine test fixtures
• Maintain rev control of programs, tooling and setups
• Select tooling and maintain tool library
• Material selection and sizing
• Ability to handle complete part manufacture including outside processing
• Experience with a variety of materials (aluminum, stainless steels, titanium and nickel based alloys)
