Job summary

RACV Limited is seeking a Senior AEM Developer to join our Digital Technology team in Melbourne. You will design, develop and enhance the Adobe Experience Manager platform, delivering scalable experiences for RACV members.

You’ll work in an Agile environment, collaborate with product, design and tech teams, and mentor junior developers while upholding engineering standards. The role involves hands-on design and development, platform enhancements and contributing to continuous improvement

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) including Sites, Assets, and integrations.
• Expertise building AEM components and services with Sling, HTL and OSGi.
• Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS).
• Frontend experience with React and Next.js.
• Hands-on experience building REST APIs and GraphQL.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and modern software practices.
• Knowledge of AWS/Azure, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to mentor junior developers.
• Experience working in Agile delivery teams.

About the Opportunity

At RACV, we’re continuing to evolve our digital experience and are looking for an experienced Senior AEM Developer to join our Digital Technology team.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in designing, developing and enhancing our Adobe Experience Manager platform, helping to deliver exceptional digital experiences for RACV members. Working within an Agile delivery environment, you’ll collaborate closely with developers, architects, product teams and business stakeholders to build scalable, high-quality solutions across a range of digital initiatives.

This is a hands-on technical role where you’ll contribute to solution design, develop new capabilities, support platform improvements and mentor junior team members while maintaining high engineering standards and development best practices.

Key responsibilities include

Design, develop and support AEM solutions and digital experiences

What you’ll need to be successful

3+ years’ experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including Sites, Assets and integrations

Expertise developing AEM components and services using Sling, HTL and OSGi

Experience with Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS)

In depth experience working with Frontend technologies (React and Next.js)

Hands-on experience building REST APIs and with GraphQL

Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and modern software development practices

Knowledge of AWS/Azure, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues

Experience mentoring and providing technical guidance to junior developers

Previous experience working within Agile delivery teams
