About the Role
An opportunity currently exists for an experienced and motivated Advisor – Innovative Digital Learning Design to join our Training and Capability team at Hancock Iron Ore. Reporting to the Lead Training and Capability, this role plays a key part in shaping high-quality, engaging and operationally aligned learning solutions that support capability development across our mining operations.
You will partner closely with subject matter experts, operational leaders, and training professionals to design, develop and enhance learning materials across a wide range of technical and safety domains. You’ll ensure content is accurate, practical, and suited to a fast‑paced mining environment.
This position will be offered on a maximum term contract for approximately 6 months.

We have four operating mines: Roy Hill, Miralga Creek, Sanjiv Ridge, and McPhee Creek, plus a range of exciting development opportunities.
We deliver more than 70 million tonnes of ore each year through our own two-berth port facility at Stanley Point and the multi-user Utah Point in Port Hedland, providing the materials needed to foster global economic growth and development. Leveraging established infrastructure, including our processing plant and 344km independently owned and operated heavy haul railway, our operation oversees each moment from when ore is mined through to when it is shipped.
