Job summary

the original is seeking a Remote Travel Consultant/Agent to work directly with clients and travel vendors to craft customized vacation packages. You will handle itineraries, bookings, and payments while maintaining supplier relationships and attending ongoing trainings.

The role emphasizes strong communication, organization, and customer service, with advantages for those with hospitality or sales background. 18+ and US work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• Complete required Certification program in a timely manner.
• Complete and maintain agent registrations with vendors and suppliers.
• Must be 18 years of age and be authorized to work in the US.
• Laptop, Computer, or Smart Phone with reliable internet access is required.
• Ability to manage your time effectively and stay organized.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Personal travel experience is an advantage, but not a requirement.
• Previous experience in hospitality and/or sales is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, plan and execute travel itineraries including airline, car rental, cruises, resorts & hotels, etc.
• Process payments on behalf of clients to secure reservations.
• Maintain relationships with industry vendors and suppliers.
• Attend ongoing trainings to maintain and increase knowledge within the industry.
• Provide superior customer service to clients.
• Provide details to clients regarding any required travel documents such as passports or visas.
