Job summary

AIA Australia is seeking Advice Associates to join its Financial Wellbeing team across Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney. You will provide comprehensive administrative and implementation support to Financial Planners, helping customers access affordable, straightforward financial advice, and ensuring timely delivery of advice and service commitments.

The role requires RG146-compliant Diploma or equivalent, strong customer service and organizational skills, and the ability to manage a high-volume

Within this position you will be working closely with, and support, our Financial Planners to provide comprehensive administrative and implementation support, as well as providing a highly personable and professional experience to our customers.To do this successfully you will:Provide comprehensive administrative support to Financial Planners in their delivery of Financial Advice to our customers, particularly in relation to advice implementationAssist in preparation for customer meetings/presentations, support research, managing documentation, record management and implementation of advice to customersImplement both personal and general advice in a timely mannerSupport the delivery of Annual Service Agreement obligations to ensure customer milestones and service commitments are metCollaborate with different parts of the business to support business initiatives and support an efficient, well-functioning teamContinuously build your knowledge of the Advice industry, legislative changes, attend professional development and compliance training sessions and complete all mandatory learning within the required timeframesSuccessful applications will demonstrate:A Diploma of Financial Services, Financial Planning (RG146 compliance) or previous experience working in a Financial Planning / Advice businessA proven track record of experience in a busy customer service / client facing roleDemonstrated ability to effectively prioritise work commitments and meet deadlines to support effective advice and customer outcomesExperience in managing a high-volume workloadStrong communication skills both written and oralWell-developed rapport building and customer engagement skillsStrong organisational and time management skillsSound risk management thinking and practicesThe ability to role model AIA’s Operating Philosophy of “Doing the Right thing, in the Right Way, with the Right people” as the incumbent will be measured against this regularlyWhy choose AIA:At AIA, we’ve made a promise to help people live healthier, longer, better lives.
