Job summary

Raytheon Australia is seeking a motivated Program Support Coordinator to join the Advanced Training and Test Environment team based at Williamtown, NSW. Hybrid work arrangements apply as you manage ATTE across Defence projects to deliver critical capability.

You will develop project documents, coordinate governance processes, and maintain program data while supporting risk workshops and continuous improvement initiatives. Must have Certificate IV and BV1 clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in business administration, leadership and/or project management disciplines or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a project coordination role, preferably in Defence or a technology-oriented environment.
• Experience coordinating Defence Capability projects or products in a CASG System Program Office or Defence headquarters is advantageous.
• Negative Vetting 1 security clearance is a requirement for this role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain initial project documents (proposal of change, analysis of change and initial planning documents) for change requests in the ATTE program.
• Support governance meetings as the secretariat, coordinating submissions and recording actions for timely completion.
• Ensure good record keeping of all program data and support timely submission of deliverables.
• Attend and support workshops on risk and opportunities management.
• Review strategy for sub-projects and report on progress.
• Champion continuous improvement activities.

Right now, we are experiencing exciting growth and are seeking a motivated and experienced Program Support Coordinator to join our Advanced Training and Test Environment team based at our Williamtown location.

This role will be working as part of a team, responsible for managing the Advanced Training and Test Environment (ATTE), delivering Defence a critical capability to support all services in the Defence Force.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain initial project documents (proposal of change, analysis of change and initial planning documents) for change requests in the ATTE program.
• Support a series of governance meetings, acting as the secretariat to help coordinate submissions for those meetings, recording actions and following up to ensure timely completion.
• Work with Defence to ensure good record keeping of all program data and effective support for timely submission of program deliverables.
• Attending and support workshops on risk and opportunities management
• Review of strategy for sub-projects
• Reporting on progress
• Championing continuous improvement activities.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

• Certificate IV qualified in business administration, leadership and/or project management disciplines or equivalent experience.
• Ideally a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a project coordination role, preferably in Defence or a technology-oriented environment.
• Experience in the coordination of Defence Capability projects or products in a CASG System Program Office or Defence formation headquarters environment would be looked on favourably.
• Proven experience working in multidisciplinary teams, helping toorganise, prioritise, and schedule work assignments.
• Currently holding or ability to acquire Negative Vetting 1 security clearance is a requirement for this role.
