Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking an Advanced Social Work Practitioner for the Safeguarding Team in Liverpool. The post offers a flexible 6-month contract with the option of full-time or part-time hours and a competitive £40.00 per hour salary.

You will manage complex child protection and pre-proceedings cases, undertake risk assessments and care planning, and lead multi-agency safeguarding meetings. The role requires Social Work England registration and a strong track record in children's social

Qualifications

• Degree or postgraduate qualification in Social Work.
• Current registration with Social Work England.
• Significant post-qualification experience in complex children’s social care cases.
• Completion of Assessed and Supported Year in Employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate complex child protection, children in need, and pre-proceedings cases.
• Undertake comprehensive assessments, risk analyses, and care planning.
• Lead on complex casework, including court proceedings and reporting.
• Chair strategy discussions and multi-agency safeguarding meetings.
• Mentor less experienced colleagues and drive learning within the team.
