Job summary

Gateway Health is hiring an Adults Using Family Violence Practitioner in Wangaratta. This full-time role (76 hours per fortnight) sits at The Orange Door, coordinating with Gateway Health and the Domestic and Family Violence program to support safety and accountability.

You’ll screen, triage, assess, and plan interventions for victims and families. We offer development, ongoing training and supervision, plus a comprehensive benefits package including NFP Salary Packaging and flexible working

Qualifications

Experience in domestic and family violence service sector or willingness to be trained in Men’s Family Violence services.
Ability to work autonomously and coordinate with a multi-disciplinary team.
Strong skills in intake, assessment and case planning with early intervention focus.

Responsibilities

Undertake screening and triage, intake assessment and targeted interventions.
Develop service plans as part of The Orange Door team to support victims and accountability.
Contribute to safety planning and risk monitoring for families and survivors.
