The Role

Join our team as an Admissions Clerk and play a vital role in supporting the elective surgery admission process across the hospital. You will provide efficient administrative support, coordinate patient admissions, prepare and maintain medical records, and act as a key point of contact for patients, clinicians and internal stakeholders. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment where accuracy, organisation and exceptional customer service are essential.

You will need

• Experience in administrative, clerical or office support roles, ideally within a healthcare or hospital environment.
• Strong computer skills, including accurate data entry and the ability to maintain electronic records and information systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, clinicians and staff at all levels.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities, work independently and use initiative to solve problems.
• A high level of attention to detail, professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.

Details of appointment

Permanent part time, day worker position, working up to 38 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

$76,849 to $82,996 pro rata per annum + our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

• Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2025
