Hunter New England Local Health District (HNELHD) is seeking motivated and adaptable an Administration Officer to join the Patient Services Department at Tamworth Hospital.
Patient Services is located on the ground floor of the Tamworth hospital and plays a vital role in supporting patients, visitors and clinical teams. As the first point of contact for many people accessing our services, our team is committed to delivering a welcoming, professional and patient-focused experience. The Patient Services team oversees and manages the waiting list for all Elective Surgery for the Tamworth hospital in line with the Surgical access policy. The successful applicant will need to become familiar with the policy and will be provided training on how this fits into the role.
As an administration Officer, you'll work across the Patient Services Department, providing outstanding customer service while supporting a range of administrative functions. Every day brings something different, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and working collaboratively with others. This role works with a team of 7 other administration officers who oversee a variety of tasks.
This is a non shift position hours of the role are Monday to Friday 8am – 4.30pm
While previous administrative or health experience is desirable, we're equally interested in candidates with a willingness to learn and a genuine commitment to delivering excellent service.
