Job summary

Western NSW Local Health District in Lightning Ridge, NSW, is seeking an Administration Officer Level 2 for a permanent full-time role.

You will provide quality customer service to patients, staff and the public, handle a range of clerical tasks, support the manager and contribute to quality improvements. The position offers 38 hours per week and a salary of $69,272.27 to $71,570.21 per year plus superannuation, with a closing date of 5 October 2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service to patients, employees and members of the public.
• Respond to face-to-face and telephone enquiries with a respectful and helpful approach.
• Complete a range of operational, clerical and administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the facility.
• Assist with more complex tasks or projects and provide relief for other staff as required.
• Support the manager and team with quality improvement activities.
• Make decisions and take initiative in day-to-day operational matters.
