Job summary

What You'll Be Doing

Reporting to the Executive Officer/Director of Nursing and Nurse Unit Manager Aged Care, you'll provide frontline administrative support across the Nursing division at Ceduna MPS. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Serving as the primary customer contact for Ceduna District Health Services - greeting, directing and assisting a broad range of clients and community members
  • Delivering comprehensive clerical support including data entry, records management, correspondence and document preparation
  • Operating and maintaining standard office equipment and systems including Microsoft Office, email and Excel
  • Supporting the efficient and effective running of the Nursing division through accurate, timely administrative tasks
What You'll Bring
  • Experience providing clerical or administrative support, including records maintenance and office procedures
  • Confident use of computer-based tools - particularly Microsoft Office, Excel and email - with a strong focus on accuracy
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, across a diverse range of people
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and maintain attention to detail under pressure
  • A sound understanding of confidentiality and discretion, particularly relevant in a regional health setting where the community is small and trust matters
  • The ability to work independently with initiative while contributing positively to a team environment
