Job summary

Austin Health is seeking a Specialist Clinics Supervisor in Melbourne to provide professional, efficient and patient-centred administration support across the Specialist Clinics Division.

You will help enhance patient access and service delivery, lead a team across referral registration, clinic administration, call centre and billing, and contribute to a high-volume, patient-focused environment.

About the Specialist Clinics department

We provide access to:

• Medical, Nursing and Allied Health professionals for assessment, diagnosis, and treatmentin an outpatient setting
• Ongoing specialist management of chronic and complex conditions in collaboration with community providers pre-and post-hospital care, related diagnostic services such as pathology and imaging, teaching, training and research opportunities
  

About the role

The Specialist Clinics Supervisor role is to provide professional, efficient and patient-centered care to administration functions within Austin Health Specialist Clinics Division to enhance patient access and service delivery.

The Specialist Clinics Supervisor works as part of a supportive team, meeting the accountability requirements for the Department of Health reporting Medicare legislation. The role is central in participating in Divisional initiatives to enhance patient care and meet Divisional and organisational key performance indicators.

The Specialist Clinics Supervisors work/supervise across a number of areas within the department including referral registration, clinic administration, call centre and billing.
