Job summary

Bayside Health is seeking an administrative support officer for the Amputee Unit and Prosthetic department at Caulfield Hospital. The role involves front desk duties, coordinating staff appointments, store management, and contributing to billing and data reporting.

Permanent position with a 76-hour fortnighly schedule and a supportive multidisciplinary team. Onsite parking and staff benefits are provided.

The Department

The Prosthetic and Orthotic Department in conjunction with Amputee Unit aims to provide a full range of rehabilitation services to cater for the needs of clients with limb deficienies. musculoskeletal and/or neurological deformities. The service provides long-tern management and support in partnership with other services. The service also focuses on the lifelong. evolving needs of people with amputation and prosthetic devices receiving NDIS funding.

Position Summary

The overall objective of this position is to provide administrative support to the Amputee Unit and Prosthetic department. The position will liaise closely with a diverse range of clients, carers, community members and health professionals. A large focus is to attend to patients and clients at front reception and by phone, manage staff appointments, store management and participating in billing, data reporting and record keeping.
