Job summary

Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network seeks an experienced administrator to support recruitment, onboarding, and workforce administration across its network. You will coordinate staffing for nursing and midwifery, ensuring timely engagement and compliance with policies.

You will provide high-level admin support to the Nurse Manager and Central Staffing team, liaising with managers, HR, and payroll to deliver responsive staffing services and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • An experienced administrator with strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented,initiates and works independently with high accuracy handling sensitive information.
  • Strong communicator and relationship builder across stakeholders including HR and payroll.
  • Compliance-focused with experience maintaining records and adherence to policies and legislative obligations.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and workforce administration to engage nursing and midwifery staff.
  • Monitor and maintain workforce compliance aligning with SA Health policies.
  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Nurse Manager and Central Staffing team.
  • Build relationships with managers, HR, Payroll, and external stakeholders to deliver staffing support.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to service enhancements.

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?
  • Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and workforce administration activities to support the timely engagement of nursing and midwifery staff across the network.
  • Monitor and maintain workforce compliance requirements, ensuring records are accurate, up to date, and aligned with SA Health policies and legislative standards.
  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Nurse Manager and Central Staffing team, including preparing reports, correspondence, meeting documentation, and business records.
  • Build effective relationships with managers, staff, Human Resources, Payroll, and external stakeholders to deliver responsive and customer-focused staffing support services.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to service enhancements, helping to streamline workflows, strengthen compliance practices, and improve the onboarding experience.
