Qualifikationen

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum, including literacy and numeracy.
• Experience in planning high-impact teaching strategies and evaluating learning growth.
• Experience in monitoring and assessing student learning; using data to inform practice and communicate with families.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; collaborates with students, parents, colleagues and the community.
• Values alignment and commitment to professional learning and improving teaching quality.
• Understanding of School-Wide Positive Behaviour Framework in a Special Developmental School.
• Ability to deliver targeted swimming and water safety education.

Aufgaben

• Direct teaching of groups and individual students to achieve learning outcomes.
• Contribute to curriculum development, implementation and evaluation.
• Undertake other classroom duties as assigned by the principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Supervise and train student teachers where applicable.
