Job summary

Beechworth Health Service in Beechworth, VIC is seeking endorsed Enrolled Nurses for acute care with both full-time and part-time roles. The position focuses on supporting and promoting activities aligned with the service and ensuring high-quality patient care within a rural health setting.

The successful applicant will be a registered Enrolled Nurse with NMBA, knowledgeable about back care, OH&S, wound care per policy, and experienced in rural health care environments.

Qualifications

• Must be registered as an Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
• Knowledge of back care/no lift and OH&S in acute care settings.
• Knowledge of wound care procedures per BHS policy.
• Experience in rural/remote health care settings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and promote activities aligned with Beechworth Health Service.
• Contribute to efficient use of resources that support quality of care for clients.
• Act as a clinical resource, supervisor and role model for Personal Care Assistants and other carers.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient/resident/client care with the health team and involve the patient or their representative.
