Mediix in Melbourne's eastern suburbs is seeking a passionate Speech Therapist to join our busy clinic. You will assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across all ages, collaborating with families and a multidisciplinary team.

The role offers a flexible arrangement including full-time or contract work, with a competitive salary of $85,000–$125,000 plus super, and a $1,000 annual CPD allowance. Registration with the Speech Pathology Association is required.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in Speech Pathology
• Registration with the Speech Pathology Association of your country
• Proven experience in assessing and treating communication and swallowing disorders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Desire to make a positive impact on clients' lives
• Flexibility to work full time or as a contractor

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to evaluate clients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clients' needs and goals
• Provide therapy sessions to improve clients' communication and swallowing skills
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care
• Document client progress and maintain accurate records
• Provide education and support to clients and their families
