Central Highlands Rural Health in Daylesford seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (Grade 2) to join the Daylesford Acute Ward and Urgent Care Centre on a permanent part-time basis (0.6 EFT). You will provide safe, person-centred care in a supportive multidisciplinary team and contribute to positive patient outcomes.

The role requires acute and emergency nursing experience, ALS certification, and a commitment to rural healthcare.

Qualifikationen

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Experience in acute and/or emergency nursing.
• Excellent assessment, decision-making and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
• ALS certification and commitment to rural health delivery.

Aufgaben

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care in accordance with standards and policies.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Respond to urgent and emergency presentations in the Urgent Care Centre.
• Support patients and families through effective communication and education.
• Participate in quality improvement, accreditation and governance activities.
• Contribute to a positive team culture and support junior staff.
